The 'Big White Ski Resort', situated in the Okanagan area is another resort you must visit. Just like Fernie resort, this resort is renowned for its "champagne powder" and the breathtaking views this resort provides from the top of the Canadian mountains. It is also the largest resort in Canada. Another record to its name, Big White is the highest located winter village of all the other resorts in Canada. It also receives an average of more than twenty five feet of snow each year. Also, Big White's childcare center has been rated the best kids resort by a popular magazine.

Two more holiday resorts that need mention are "The Sun Peaks" and the "Silver Star Ski Resort". They have a variety of dedicated trails for beginners, amateur, and expert skiers. If skiing is not your idea of a holiday, they also offer other fun snow activities.
