An eclectic mix of food, antiques and people, these unusually interesting markets will give you the feel of being in Morocco. Also West End is chock o block with the best pubs and restaurants and a visit here is a must.

The museums of London are extremely diverse ranging from history museums to science museums. The British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum and the Tower of London are some of the most notable ones.

Travelling in any of the highly efficient public transport systems is your best bet to break away from clutches of overcharging cabs.

From the airport, you could take the Express line that begins from Terminal 5 and passes the central terminals area and finally reaches its end destination - Paddington. Travel time would be 15 minutes from Heathrow Airport to Paddington.

Make sure you take a ride in London's underground tube. It leaves from the Heathrow airport and halts at every terminal in the airport. Travel time would be 45 minutes because of the frequent stops but this route takes you directly to the heart of London - Piccadilly Circus.
